Unit two illustrates the Creation, the Sabbath, the sin problem, and Gods response to sin. Unit three focuses on the experiences of the families of Adam, Noah, and Abraham. Unit four is all about Gods love for all people and how following His guidance, with the help of the Holy Spirit, leads to better relationships within the family and with others. Volume 2, Gods Gift Our Choice focuses on the reasons why there were four Gospels, the land and people in Christs time, and the early life of Jesus. Unit two is about the early ministry of Jesus up to the turning point in His ministry - the feeding of the 5,000. Unit three continues the ministry of Jesus through the final week of His life. Unit four centers on the final week of Jesus life including the crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension. There are three (3) components of the grade 9 religion curriculum. They are: Student Textbook There are two textbooks for year one of grades 9 and 10. The textbook is bound with a hardback cover and is designed for one semester of study. Teachers Edition There is an annotated spiral-bound teachers edition for each textbook. Teacher Resource Manual (TRM) The Teacher Resource Manual (TRM) is a companion volume to the teachers edition. It is in a three-ring loose-leaf notebook.
